Hi! I’m Tristan
I’m an ACD, Copywriter based in New York City. Currently, I’m part of the Design team in Creative X at Meta. Previously, I’ve worked at Ogilvy, smaller creative agencies, and startups.
I always look for new and unexpected ways to express a brand’s identity. For me, a deep understanding of a company or a product is at the heart of great creativity; it helps me turn complex or technological concepts into clear and entertaining ideas. I have over 8 years of advertising and branding experience, with a specialty in tech.
As a creative, I bring the same high level of excitement and respect to everything I do, whether it’s a global campaign or a one-off project, and I have a strategic sense of both the details and the big picture. I’m a strong member of any team, a real creative partner, and a mentor to younger creatives.
My creative and brand work is informed by a wide range of interests. In addition to advertising, I have a journalism and editorial background and used to be a reporter at a magazine in Ohio. I’m originally from Seattle, have worked at Sub Pop and record stores, and was the music director of my college radio station. Beyond work, I’m constantly making things with my friends, recording music, writing stories, and reading (or at least buying) books.
